This kit comes with everything you need to play audio from smartphones, tablets, MP3 players, etc. in up to eight rooms in your home. Just add speakers! The included Charge and Play wallplate serves as the main connection point for your audio devices, like smartphones, tablets, or MP3 players. This wallplate features left and right stereo inputs (required cable included) to deliver crisp, full sound. Its USB port also allows you to charge the connected device while playing music through your system. Everything you need for multi-room control and distribution is included -- just add speakers! The kit also comes with two Studio wallplates with audio inputs (no USB ports) for connecting additional sources. With multiple wallplates, your system can play music from multiple devices in different rooms at the same time. The kit also includes four keypads for controlling the system. Each keypad features an efficient class D amplifier, a convenient whole-house button, and an RJ45 connection. The included 4-Source, 8-Zone Distribution Module connects the wallplates and keypads to your speakers. It distributes four audio sources to up to eight different locations and is expandable to 32 locations.The included power supply delivers power to the distribution module, and a Universal Smart Cradle docks your connected device near the Charge and Play wallplate.
